A Lady Named Bonnie...
I'd intended to post this yesterday but I'm not sure why because I knew I was going to be out late... go figure! Anyway, I had some down time this evening at Webster's (it's a local bookstore/coffee shop) and I saw this lovely lady looking out at me from a book cover. At first I thought it was Rosa Parks but upon closer inspection I found out it was a lady named "Bonnie." Anyway, I thought I'd post this drawing - I'm not sure if I'm going to do anything more with it or if this is it... but enjoy!
As you can see by the time log for this entry, it's past my bedtime. I didn't get to blog earlier because it was such a busy day with work (a very good thing) and then I enjoyed an evening with a friend (an even better thing)...
Oh yeah, before I end this I wanted to ask people to send me a photo of themselves. I'm trying to practice my caricature skills (with all the free time I pretend to have) and it would be fun to practice with people I know. I don't guarantee you'll get to see the results of my efforts... it depends on how good I think they are. But you can feel good about the fact that you're helping a starving artist hone his craft!
Okay... time for bed... sleep tight!
