What a Glorious Thing Sleep Is

I just wanted to post a quick entry to thank those who have extended their condolences and well wishes to me and my family.  Your thoughts and prayers are welcome during this time while we mourn the loss of my grandmother.

On a more personal note, I slept last night and what a difference a night makes.  I'd not really slept much since last Wednesday when I found out about Granny's stroke so by the time yesterday came and I found out her struggle was over, I was a zombie and not in my right mind.  I fell asleep on the couch after dinner and that would usually be enough to keep me from getting any sleep at night but that wasn't the case - I slept soundly and awoke refreshed.

I apologize to those who I've dropped the ball with over the last few days, but I'm feeling much better today and I think I'm getting back on top of everything... and just in time.  The Commitment Ceremony is this weekend followed by Pride Week in all it's glory - I'll be ready for another solid night of sleep when everything is done!

Anyway, that was the primary reason for my absence here so you can expect me to be a little more regular with my posts again.  Thanks again and keep checking back...

Peace of Christ,
K.
