When asked about her mother’s plans to help the GLBT community, Chelsea cited plans to extend equal benefits to federal employees and an end to ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell,’ but then she also pointed to the bill currently in the process of being passed in Pennsylvania that would outlaw gay and lesbian unions.  Hillary is the only candidate who has spoken out against this.

Finally, before she wrapped up her time, Chelsea encouraged those present to learn what the issues are and where their candidate stands on them.  She also pointed out that there’s more that needs to be looked at then simply the Presidential level of politics as she pushed for more people to find ways to participate on more local levels.

If this lady is any indication, her mother will make a great President.
