About the job: well, I work at a university bookstore and with freshmen returning this Wednesday, a lot of my time is spent helping to stock the inventory and learning how to find books for classes quickly.  Although we often have more employees on the floor than customers, I'm told that will be reversed greatly in the coming week when things will turn on their ear with the busyness of the season.  I look forward to the challenge and I'm confident I'll be up-to-speed on what I need to know to get the job done.  It's a little surreal to be working retail again as it's been years since I've done this, but I very much enjoy the people I work with and the customer service aspect is so much fun! I love talking to strangers!

I do have a couple of things I hope to post about this weekend, so I'm going to try to make up for my absence of the next couple of days... but until then I just wanted to let everyone know I'm doing well and getting into my new job!
