For Those in State College
I sent an email out to a few of my friend in State College yesterday, hoping that they'll spread the word... but just in case there's someone who reads my blog who I didn't email, I guess I'll post the same bulletin here:
I'm going to be coming back to State College for a wedding the weekend of October 11 - which also happens to be National Coming Out Day. In honor of this occasion, Penn State will be featuring a presentation by gay Christian, Jeffrey Barnes, which chronicles his own coming out experience and faith/sexuality journey. It will be held at 8:00pm on October 11 at the
Forum, room 105 - the performance itself lasts about 45 minutes with a discussion to follow. I've seen it a number of times and I recommend anyone who's got the opportunity to see this powerful show and bring questions or comments to share afterward.
I hope to see you all there and maybe we can go for dessert afterward and do some catching up!
This is the same show, And He Ran Screaming, that Jeffrey performed during IndyFringe in August. It was wildly successful there and I hope there will be a great turnout at Penn State, too! If you are planning to attend, please let me know so I can look for you... see you there!
