I was at Trader Joe's this afternoon* when the cashier behind the counter commented that I looked like the guy from Fight Club**.  She asked if anyone had ever said that to me before and I had to respond that I actually have heard that once before - years ago, when I lived in Los Angeles.  I'd been told that I looked like Edward Norton and I took it as a compliment because I find him talented, but I didn't really see much resemblance.

*stocking up on hummus and pita bread - my new favorite snack!

**I first asked her if she was talking about Brad Pitt, but she said no - he's too feminine looking (huh?!?)... I've now actually met someone who thinks I look more masculine-looking than Brad Pitt - go figure!  It turns out bringing his name up was actually insulting to her as she's not liked him since he cheated on Jennifer... I can't say I blame her...
