A Quick Update... That I Need to Follow Up On
I've been meaning to find time this weekend to post this update, but I've been busy with a myriad of things - mostly having to do with the purpose of this post*...
*And now I'm just tired - not the right frame of mind to spin a tale.
I'm coming to State College**...

I don't know how many people in State College actually still read this, but I just wanted to let you all know I'm making the trip tomorrow. Also, for those who don't live in State College (but still read my blog) I figured I'd let you know where I'm at and why I'm not at Starbucks... or church... or work... but you're all welcome to pray for my safe journey!
The reason for the trip is multi-faceted. First, my very good friend Eric is defending his graduate thesis and it's been my hope that I'd be able to be there to support him***. Second, it's Pride Week at Penn State and it was such a big part of my spring last year that I have a hard time imagining not being there. Finally, there are so many people in PA who I miss so much - I couldn't go much longer without a visit!
***I'm not really sure how much support I'll be since whatever he has to say will probably go way over my head - but I'm looking for a foam finger that I can wave, just in case someone wants to pan the crowd! Also, we've been talking for months about taking a picture together so perhaps this time we'll actually make it happen...
I intend to update once I arrive... and I'll actually follow up on this post and fill you in on the goings on of the weekend.
