I live on the third floor and unless I get right up to the window, most people can't see me in my apartment.  I also don't have an a/c unit or central air, so during the summer I tend to be a little liberal with my clothing - after all, who can see?  It's just me so I don't close doors or bother with the niceties that one would consider when living with others.  All of that may be about to change...

The way my apartment is laid out, you can actually be in the bathroom and look through the living room and out the window to the other half of the building across the way.  It had happened once last week that I looked out while in the bathroom and saw someone sitting in the window.  We were right at eye level but I was sure they couldn't actually see me... after all, the only reason I could see them so clearly was because they were right at the window!

Today I was in the bathroom doing what one does in the bathroom when I looked out again.  This time the blinds were drawn, but there was a gap as though someone were looking out.  I continued to watch and the gap disappeared - had they been caught?  I wasn't in a position to put move (I was busy in the bathroom) but I did close the door after watching for another minute to see if there was any more movement.

It seems Gladys Kravitz has moved into the neighborhood... perhaps I should make a formal introduction!
