A Moving Update

If getting ready for my upcoming move wasn't enough - I've had to endure not feeling well the last couple of days.

It started Sunday when I spent the evening in a grouchy mood and I wasn't reacting to anything the way I felt like I should have.  At the time I blamed it on the loss of an hour Saturday night, and when I didn't get enough sleep that night the blame continued... but things went downhill on Monday.  I woke up not feeling "quite right."  I went to work with a headache and felt feverish off an on all day.  I came home and fell asleep for about two and a half hours, ate dinner, felt nauseous, and went to bed at 9:00... only to toss and turn for the next three hours.  Throughout the day I endured some dizziness and that continued on Tuesday when I went to my last day of work at the Athenaeum.

Fortunately, I slept better last night (about nine and a half hours) and I'm feeling almost back to normal today.  Good news because I need to focus on the aforementioned "getting ready for my upcoming move."

In regards to that: I have about ten boxes packed, more than half of my studio emptied and about the same percentage of my bookshelf.  I've gotten bites from people interested in taking my furniture off my hands.  I have yet to pack my bedroom, but that should only take one duffle bag to do the trick, and the kitchen will probably be packed in one box.  I've started a bag of clothes for goodwill and I have a stack of things by the door composed of things that belong to other people and need to be returned.

All in all, I think I'm a little ahead of schedule and I plan to spend this afternoon enjoying the canal.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
