Happy 2012!
What's a good way to ring in the new year? Attending the theatre (French spelling intentional - this is culture after all), of course!
For Christmas, Steve bought tickets for us to see Cirque Dreams Holidaze at the Broward Center - and he planned it for New Years Day*! It was an amazing show featuring Christmas music and singers, tumblers, contortionists, dancers, gymnasts, and more that left us breathless (as we were holding our breath a lot) and thinking about how much fun it is to spend an afternoon at the theatre... what should we see next?!?
*One of the few times we could be sure we'd both have minimal commitments.
We weren't supposed to take pictures during the show, so I'm including a picture of the stage during intermission.
